Committee Meeting – HRCHGS – Wednesday 14th May 2008

Decisions
- Website – HRFC Hon. Secretary to be contacted direct to arrange for a link to the Societies website to be established and to discuss how the Society’s activities can become better know throughout the Club. PS/GS
- Newsletter – there will now be a bumper edition produced after the next outing and the bike ride PS
- Captain’s Day – It was agreed the event would be subsidised by the Society (£150.00). CW to confirm the attendance of our guests and BQ to arrange prizes and check arrangements for the day. CW/BQ
- Geoff’s Pot – as the Casuals have no -one to organise their team it was agreed to explore the possibility of alternative opponents. DB to contact BJ to see if he had any suggestions. DB/ALL
Treasurer’s Report
- the Committee reviewed the accounts and agreed they were in a very healthy state. CW will continue to be alert to ways of subsidising activities CW
2008 Tour
- numbers have been finalised at 20 and Tour monies are still coming in. DB
Bike Ride
- everyone is training hard. BQ to liaise with GS re T-shirts. BQ
Any Other Business
- the Committee are still open to suggestions for summer events and will continue to explore possibilities. ALL
